Right now, we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to certain styles of monosynth architecture. I say this as if it ever went away, but the reality is, the popularity of TB-303-style voices has never really diminished. Even Roland has finally realised this by offering its excellent TB-03 Boutique package (reviewed MT166), and although it’s great to have this as a standalone, there is an appeal for many to have something akin to this in Eurorack form, for inclusion in a larger system. Well now might well be that time, as Eowave brings us the Domino as a pint-sized Eurorack module, offering something very similar to a 303.
