Late last year SRAM revamped its Code brake, which is a model that's designed for hard-hitting gravity use. Think downhill racing and enduro, and you’re close to the mark. With regular mountain bikes steadily evolving to become bigger, more confident and capable, I decided to try the new Code on my trail bike to see how they fared and whether it would prove to be too much.
