SIG Sauer’s Ultimate Optics System
TO some shooters using an electronic device is as natural as breathing - alas, I am not one of them. The "Calculate To Shoot" process has become so high-tech that Sig Sauer has introduced a BDX (Ballistic Data Xchange) system that, once you've loaded your load data into the scope, the reticle allows you to hold dead-on at any distanceby Bluetooth. A ballistic calculator in the scope measures the bullet drop to place an aiming dot on the reticle. Described as Sig Sauer's one-stop solution for accurate long range shooting, you can take full advantage of Sig Sauer's latest cutting-edge technology which allows an accurate reading at the press of a button.
The new BDX system has just two basic components - a scope and a rangefinder. All you need to do to activate the scope is to download a free App to a smartphone, and you are in business via a data sharing network between your smartphone, a Kilo BDX rangefinder and a Sierra3 BDX riflescope.
You start by downloading the BDX App and pairing the App with your Sierra3 BDX riflescope to create a custom bullet
