Hawker Pacific pitches Bells for ADF

In response to the Australian Government’s LAND 2097 Phase 4 project for a Special Operations Helicopter (SOH) requirement, Hawker Pacific landed in force at the 2019 Avalon air show with a total of five aircraft on show, including the two Bells. The Request for Information (RFI) calls for a proven light commercial or military off-the-shelf helicopter which is already in service and able to be rapidly transported aboard the RAAF’s C-17A Globemaster aircraft. The helicopter must be optimised for operations in dense urban environments and capable of being fitted with simple electro-optic sensors (EOS) and weapons.
