Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Michael McCormack introduced a bill to the House of Representatives in late February proposing to amend the Civil Aviation Act 1988.
The bill seeks to amend the Act to take into account the cost of regulation, whilst maintaining the primacy of safety.
