n those days the only information available came in the form of the Rutan Aircraft Factory (RAF) plans and Canard Pusher newsletters, all of which arrived via snail mail. Burt Rutan, Mike Melville and the team, being keen to improve the RAF product as the result of their own experiences, kept changing the plans at a rate quicker than the early Aussie builders could change their project.
