VAN DIEMEN’S RUN
Australia is spoiled for choice when it comes to riding. We can access pretty much any terrain or landscape that’s available anywhere else around the world. We have open spaces, forest, farmlands, mountains and rivers, snow and desert, and a mix of riding from the simple to the damned frightening.
But it’s hard to pinpoint one place in Oz that has as much to offer as Tasmania. Anyone that’s visited the Apple Isle (so known because Tassie was once one of the world’s largest producers of apples) will come away struck by its beauty. The beaches, mountains and rivers are so often pristine and not overpopulated that it feels like a mini slice of New Zealand’s south island.
