EVolocity challenges secondary school students to design and build electric vehicles using supplied 350W motors. However, Jackson Crawford (design),
Jordan Heron (electronics and drivetrain), and Daniel Foote (ergonomics, steering) — all aged 18 — decided they would bypass the 350W category and enter the open 1kW category with a three-wheeler using 10kW motors on each wheel.
