WHEN IN DOUBT, TRY AGAIN

This second instalment in our series on laser cutters and engravers, should be read in conjunction with the sixth project illustrated in the BBC Micro Bit column on page 96 as we will learn and practise designing and cutting materials, and how to prepare the components to create the animated birds in a cage featured in this article.

All the parts designed for this project can be made by hand, but by using a laser cutter we achieve an incredible improvement in precision and a considerable reduction in the time needed to complete the project.
