LINBIDE INNOVATION, QUALITY, AND DURABILITY

The name ‘Linbide’ will be familiar to most Shed readers, probably for the brilliant scrapers that make short work of paint removal, and all kinds of metal- and wood-surface preparation.

Hopefully most people know that Linbide is a Kiwi company that has been turning out quality tools since the 1960s.

The company in Auckland’s Penrose has survived the widespread demise of manufacturing in New Zealand, the conversion to a free market economy, the onslaught of imports, and even direct competition from cheap copies of its own products.
