An Early Christmas Wishlist

I’M WRITING THIS from my home in Grasmere, a beautiful village in England’s Lakeland – and the Garden Centre has just decked out its entire facility with its Christmas offerings.

The temperature’s dropping, the nights are drawing in, the leaves are turning golden, and we’re hanging on to early evening beers outside in the garden – but it’s a lost cause.
