The Losing Battle

SO, LET THE GAMES begin. No, not the games at the World Cup, or in the various European leagues, but the fun and games around which Kiwis, Saffers and Aussies will be heading to the moneypots of Europe as soon as the World Cup is over.

Nor are we just talking about players, although plenty of those have already said they will be making the trek north to Europe and, increasingly, Japan in hot pursuit of salaries which dwarf those they can earn in the Southern Hemisphere.
