VWt: So Steve, can we start by you telling us how CamperVanTastic got off the ground. How did it all begin?

SL: The idea for the company was born during our first Campervan road trip over 10 years ago. I was offered voluntary redundancy and had already decided it was time to buy a Campervan and embark on an adventure.

We were able to afford a VW T4 California made by Westfalia and, over the course of one winter, I equipped our Van and went for test runs to local campsites.

By April, on a rainy day, we packed our one and three-year-old boys into it and headed off to France. Over the next 14 weeks
