Fins, we really can’t live without ‘em. We’ve spent so much time focussing on board manufacturing, shape evolution and testing boards – heck, we even dedicate a whole issue to them – but we can forget the humble old fin at our peril. In fact, fin brands are some of the very companies that are leading the charge in terms of innovation, material and technological advancements in the manufacturing space, and we thought it was about time we took a closer look.

So, we grabbed two surfers, platform, helping average surfers improve their game. Quinn Bruce, on the other hand is just starting out in his professional career. The 20-year-old, who also resides in Cooly, has got his sights set on the very path that Dingo knows all too well. He’s young, hungry and progressive, and between the two of them, we figure the feedback we’d get, would be worth its weight… in a bag full of fins.
