YOU WILL NEED
♥ fabric remnant for the petal shapes
♥ fabric strip 3 x 30cm in same colour as petals
♥ wire (0.75mm)
♥ wire cutters
♥ cold glue
♥ container to mix glue in
♥ hard bristle paintbrush
♥ drop sheet with plastic coating
♥ electric cord and light bulb
1 Draw a petal template and use it to bend and cut the wire into the shape of the petal. Use the same template to cut out two pieces of fabric for each petal – add on 1cm seam allowance all around, so it will cover the wire.
2 Dilute 250ml cold glue with 60ml water and paint it over the wrong side of both pieces of one fabric petal.
