SKETCHING THE ANCESTORS
While I was looking through the creative feed on my Instagram I came across Teresa Truda’s latest project - named #100daysofawakeningtheancestors. For the next few months we can look forward to seeing her illustrating old pictures unearthed in ancient trunks to bring the stories of her ancestors back to life.
On announcing her project, she explained it as follows: ‘I perchance came across the #the100dayproject a few weeks ago and decided that I would really like to attempt the project. I’d been mulling over options as to what to do when I discovered the delightful digital artworks of Els Vlieger from a previous project - from whom I’m now taking my inspiration.
