A BRADY BUNCH OF NEWS
: We were just about to plan a year-end edition of when we realized, “Wait a minute — the decade is ending!” On that note, I hereby present our first (at least first) “end of the decade” extravaganza. Right off the covers out there — and — plus a nifty subscriber-only cover, all of which were designed by our very own Mixie von Bormann. Second, I want to send out a gigantic thank-you to everyone who took part in our “Guitarists of the Decade” committee: the thousands of readers who voted in our online poll, plus the current editorial staff, former editors and a legion of music writers and guitar geeks. BTW, the poll racked up nearly 50,000 votes. For more about the poll, its results and the guitarists featured on our five covers, head to page 48. Here’s to another decade of rampant guitarism!
