Create three-colour artwork

TO CREATE THIS bold and striking art style, the overall aim is to split the image into three distinct areas; black, white and a solid colour. To get the best results, choose a start image that can easily be broken down into just a few shapes, yet still be recognisable. For example, looking at the dog photo used in this tutorial, we can see that it can be separated into black for the eyes, nose and ears, white for the lighter area down the centre of the face and a solid colour for the remainder of the face.
