CHAPUNG SEBALI

Unassuming luxury meets eclectic, contemporary design in the south-central foothills of Indonesia’s most beloved holiday isle, where boutique resort Chapung Sebali offers a welcome refuge for savvy travelers just a 10-minute drive from the center of Ubud. Located in the steep-sided Wos River valley, the resort brims with emerald-green paddy fields, lily ponds, and vegetable and herb gardens that blend seamlessly into the surrounding jungle foliage. An expansion last year saw the addition of 14 suites to complement the resort’s eight airy villas.

All villas and suites feature abstract paintings plus elegant furniture designed by the Bali-based Greek owner.
