They are a common sight on most farms these days as telehandlers prove to be that ultimate piece of machinery that once a farmer has one, they wonder how they ever managed without it.

Whether they are used for transporting feed to livestock or loading crops onto trailers, these machines have come a long way since the introduction of the first telescopic handler by UK manufacturer Matbro in 1974.

Roll on almost half a century and telehandlers are now manufactured by several companies around the world, some via joint ventures, and contain the very latest technology available.
