HOLDEN GEMINI The 1974 oil crisis saw buyers flock to fuel efficient cars and Holden’s answer was the Gemini. Introduced in 1975, it won Wheels COTY and, over the following decade, the TC, TD, TE, TF and TG models were produced until 1985. All were rear drive with a 1.6-litre engine, though a diesel was introduced in 1981.
