Company founder Tony Fleming was drawn to long distance cruising after a career in aerospace and marine engineering. He’d been technical director and general manager for Grand Banks, so he knew what was needed to build quality motor yachts. His combined experiences set goals of safety, reliability, seaworthiness and ease of handling when he established Fleming Yachts in 1985.
