I LOVE TO RUN

Running has always been a part of former All Blacks lock Ian Jones’ life, and it remains an important pastime.

Jones started his career with Northland in 1988 as a 20-year-old lock, tipped for big things. He picked up the nickname Kamo after his home town, just north of Whangarei in New Zealand.

In total Jones played 105 matches for the All Blacks, including 79 tests, and in the 2010
