The advice and opinions offered here are based on my experience as the creator and director of 20 Atlanta Writers Conferences (and counting), sponsored by the nonprofit, 105-year-old Atlanta Writers Club. Because of our twice-yearly event, thousands of writers have become better informed about the industry, scores have signed with literary agents and acquisitions editors, and some have achieved life-changing levels of success.
