From the outside the CXUHD looks a lot like Cambridge’s older CXU player, but the company has redesigned the circuitry and removed the audio DACs, with the aim of improving performance.
That does mean that there aren’t any analogue audio outputs, which may be an issue for some people — those with older AV amplifiers, for example.
