The bratwursts were eaten, the beer steins were drunk, plenty of broken German conversation was exchanged… but, most importantly, dozens of brand-new products were revealed. Now in its 95th year, the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) Berlin convention took place from Friday 6th to Wednesday 11th September, and thoroughly lived up to its reputation as Europe’s biggest annual technology show. Featuring 1814 exhibitors occupying 161,200sq m (about 23 football pitches) of show floor space, the Berlin show saw hundreds of new AV products launched.
