THE PEOPLE’S FESTIVAL

Founded six years ago by a small group of locals, the Rotorua Bike Festival has quickly become an annual staple for the local biking community. Though the events have become quite the spectacle, it’s the people surrounding them that make it unique and extraordinary.

The brainchild of Martin Croft, the inaugural Rotorua Bike Festival was brought to life on the smell of an oily rag, with Neil Gellatly coordinating, Graeme Simpson promoting, and Nick Lambert designing.
