    The 56-year-old started her career as a pharmacist, then opened iconic Wellington homeware store Small Acorns in 1992, and last year segued into tour guiding in India when she launched bespoke travel company Adventures with Marigolds. India is a country she knows well, having been there on numerous buying trips over the years.
