OLD RULE you should only have one wedding band

NEW RULE stack mixed-metal bands Laurent Landau, president of Diamond Ideals, says it’s not uncommon for brides to want to mix metals within a set. “We used to sell one band to match the engagement ring; now we might make three ‘matching’ wedding bands— one in white, one in yellow and one in pink,” Landau says. “A bride should have a variety of options for the wedding and beyond.”
