SUMMERS COOP

RAW VEGAN () Isha Kinger, a certified raw vegan chef, health coach, and author, is now working on her Mumbai-based brand. Made from cashews and fresh homemade almond milk, PLATED () Le Cordon Bleu alumnus, pastry chef Rishab Varma, serves his gourmet ice creams in fine dining-style plating. They’re made using organic milk, sans artificial flavouring, with shakes and affogato on the menu at the Andheri West café. He recommends the vegan bang-on mango, raspberry coconut milk ice cream, and passion fruit sorbet. | LOW-CALORIE () Compared to a regular tub, Noto’s ice cream is healthier. Half the calories, low sugar, twice as much protein, and complete with prebiotic fibres—it’s almost good for you. Choose from caramel sea salt, spicy guava, and mango, in stores across Mumbai. | HOMEMADE () Each batch of Cold Love is made by Delhi-based entrepreneur Aditya Tripathi in his home kitchen, and is free of preservatives and artificial colours. Our favourites are salted butter caramel, spiced walnut and rum, and apple cinnamon. | DAIRY-FREE () An alternate for vegan dessert lovers, Mumbai-based Vegan Heart’s 12-flavour menu is completely natural and sugarfree—sweetened only with dates. While the blueberry and cranberry versions are sweet and sour, mawa malai and pista kesar are ideal for those craving Indian sweets. | ALL NATURAL () Bengaluru-based Artinci only uses locally-sourced and homegrown ingredients. From almond and cold brew coffee to paan and gulkand, all are naturally-flavoured. A must-try is their signature thandai ice cream.
