THE WALL HARVEST/COLUMBIA, 1979
I saw the movie, and that was my first experience of Pink Floyd. I was in early high school and I went to see it with friends, without any context or knowing what it would be. It was a pretty overwhelming, socio-politically charged piece of art for a little suburban freshman – it made an impact. I honestly think it was the first time I ever thought about World War II! That got me into the actual Floyd albums.
