With the help of two seamstresses, Becky transformed her mother’s original long-sleeve wedding gown into a custom lace appliqué design. “We removed the top layers of tulle and converted one of those layers into a veil,” she says. The university’s Lee Becky outfitted her bridal party in metallic jacquard floral-print skirts, and they chose the tops themselves. Waxflower, ranunculus and garden roses made up her bouquet, while gold-painted magnolia leaf wreaths adorned the chapel doors.
