‘It needed such A LOT OF WORK’

We didn’t need any convincing to buy this house,’ says Emily. ‘Initially, my partner Dean and I spotted it online, and set up a viewing straight away. That was all it took – we knew we loved it and that it was meant to be our home the second we saw it.

However, on reflection, we were naive in underestimating just how much work it would needed to get it the way we wanted it. Looking back, I can say with certainty that renovating our cottage is an experience I’ll never forget!
