Non-plastic fantastic

I’ve dabbled with ‘green’ products, often with disappointing results. There was the laundry powder that foamed like Shandy Bass; suds oozed from the washing machine, creating a slip hazard on my housemate’s floor and washing that looked grey, not white. I’ve tried eco toilet cleaner that did nothing for the state of my loo, and I remember eco lightbulbs that took 10 minutes to warm up and then only generated a soft candle glow.
