So, Doug, what got you into shooting? Did you have a family background in the sport?

No other reason than that I always wanted to do it. I was born in London, not a fancy boy at all. It was just a whim.

I understand that you were involved in racing cars first?

Yes, I was. Many, many, many, many years ago I used to work in the motor trade. Shirley had an MGC and I had an MGCGT.
