The closed season and lack of a good pigeon harvest due to the general licence disruption has left the larder a little bare. I am keen to return to what I love and fill my freezer with sustainable meat as we start wildfowling again. First, I have to do an inventory to check that all of my gear is ready for the upcoming season. This means choosing a sunny day to drag the contents of my man cave into the garden to assess.
