Bloody Well Write

PROG AIN’T NOISE POLLUTION

After reading Prog 95 avidly and with the pleasure that I have done for many years, [I had to write] concerning the new Dream Theater album (Distance Over Time). As an intermittent fan of Dream Theater (mostly the prog songs), what I found, listening to the album, was… noise pollution! The only prog song is Out Of Reach. I am not too old to accept evolution in prog, but I can’t deal with this type of ‘prog music’.

I learn lots about prog in ‘our’ magazine. Prog On… but don’t call a pig a cow.
