Our Kind of Girl DJ TIGERLILY

The musical maestro you know as DJ Tigerlily is Dara Hayes, who grew up within a frisbee throw of Sydney’s Maroubra beach and passed a childhood founded on simplicity. “My parents were down-to-earth people who were into hiking and health,” she says. “We had no DVD player or PlayStation, which was frustrating at the time but I look back and feel so appreciative of the time spent outsidechatted with a warm-hearted morning person trapped (if happily) in a night-owl career, doing her best to promote compassion, veganism . . . and ocean dips: “You never,” she says, “regret a swim.”
