Defense fails to deliver late

With Ben Roethlisberger out and injured, the Steelers turned to Mason Rudolph and their defense to beat the Seattle Seahawks.

Rudolph did his job.

The defense did not.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson engineered two fourth-quarter drives that 1) scored seven points, and 2) ran off the final 5:34 to give Seattle not only its first points ever at Heinz Field, but its first win, 28-26.
