October’s Motorhome and Caravan Show takes up some 10 halls at the NEC – as you would expect, because it is the country’s biggest leisure vehicle show.
So it goes without saying that those halls won’t all be filled with motorhomes manufactured by the big mass-market brands. They are there all right, as the past few pages have shown; but here we take a run-through what is happening elsewhere.
AUTO CAMPERS
STAND 11-110
Berkshire-based Auto Campers has been working with Titan Beds since the latter started, and the fruits of this can be seen on stand 11-110, where Auto Campers’ new long-wheelbase Leisure Van has been fitted with Titan’s new sliding-bed system.
AUTOHAUS
STAND 12-85
Despite the German name, Autohaus is actually based in Minehead, in Somerset, on the edge of Exmoor. It will be showing its full range of van conversions, including the Ashton, Spartan and Camelot, all based on the VW T6 (or a Ford with the GT Spartan) and with optional raising-roofs, and the Kingston, a four-berth based on a Fiat Ducato.
BILBO’S
STAND 11-140
A main attraction on Bilbo’s stand will be its new Nexa, designed with an optional electronic toilet fitted. This can be emptied via an internal access door, and is available on both short-and long-wheelbase versions of the rear-kitchen VW van conversion. The model also comes
