DÜSSELDORF SHOW 2019

For anyone who is considering investing in a motorhome or campervan, this, as far as shows go, is the Greatest Show in Europe, not only in terms of size, number of halls and stands, but also of the facilities that it provides to both traders and the public.

The local airport is alongside, so you can fly in, should you wish, and stay at the hotel that is a free bus ride away. Or like us, you could take the camper.

Arriving at the Caravan Centre, you’ll find a covered area with service points for refilling and draining water, and emptying the cassette toilet. Dedicated dump-points sense your presence and flush the drain automatically; a short hose above dispenses clean water when you operate the foot-switch.

There are permanent spaces for 3000 motorhomes or caravans alongside the showground, and 800 of these pitches come with a full 16A blue hook-up point. They are also set under mature trees, offering some welcome shade.

Adjacent are toilets, washrooms and showers in abundance.
