2011 Bailey Orion 430/4 vs 2010 Sprite Alpine 2

SPINNEY GROUP HAS expanded over the past few years. Beginning with one branch in Crewe, Cheshire, it now has two other outlets, in Staffordshire and Flintshire.

At the Cheshire branch, the dealership sells new Coachman, Bailey and Swift, plus Vogue dealer specials. They offer a good selection of pre-owned tourers, too.

We looked at two-berth tourers, but with a twist! Many two-berth models are sold to couples who specifically want a fixed bed, but another popular layout for couples is the end-washroom, front-lounge floorplan. Faced with this choice of two lightweight models of similar ages, which will suit?

Our target price was below £10,000, and we found two that fitted the bill – a 2011 Bailey Orion 430/4, with its quirky profile, and a 2010 Sprite Alpine 2. Both were in good condition and the Alpine, a year older, was £2000
