There are differences between each Picture Style, and in my view Fine Detail is a great everyday choice and I use it on all my cameras, unless I’m shooting black and white or movies. The Auto Picture Style uses in-camera tech to determine the kind of scene you’re shooting and then selects from a look based on the Standard, Landscape or Portrait Picture Style. I do prefer to know which is in use to choose the style rather than use auto. The standard Picture
