    Cryptocurrency is nothing new—it’s been in circulation since the 2009 launch of Bitcoin—but the digital asset’s volatility has prevented the masses from embracing it. That could change in 2020 when social media giant Facebook plans to make a new currency called Libra available to users of Facebook and its other holdings, such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
