In the same style as last year’s full Secret Of Mana remake comes the next game in the series, which has been unavailable in English since 1993. We play an early slice of the game as Duran, an orphaned mercenary who’s badly in need of a haircut. The previously pixel-art world is now fully 3D, with a delightful cartoon style reminiscent of some of Dragon Quest’s chunky design. As we explore the world outside the town, however, we discover combat is combo-based, and you can switch party members at will. It’s a lovely way to revisit a classic.
