A case of DSLR discrimination?

We have recently returned from a lovely holiday break to Corfu. However, whilst walking around the hotel one evening I noticed the lighting around the swimming pool area and thought that this looked to be a great subject to try out a little long exposure photography.

So out came my trusty Nikon D5600 DSLR along with my travel tripod. For settings I selected 10 secs, f/22, ISO100 at a focal length of 32mm with a five-second timer delay and all went well (see image).
