Made in TEXAS
ROGER HODGE
Writer and Editor
Even in his longtime Brooklyn home, the writer and editor Roger Hodge admits to feeling “a tremendous pull” back to the West Texas landscape in which he grew up. For Hodge, it’s the Devils and the Pecos rivers of his home state, the Chihuahuan Desert and Edwards Plateau that continue to resonate.
As a very young man, Hodge made his name in New York—and throughout the literary world—as editor in chief of a goal he set for himself when he moved to New York in 1991.
