punk beginnings in 2007, goth metallers Motionless In White have evolved into an arena-eyeballing proposition with the potential to be one of the biggest bands in our world. might just be the closest they’ve come so far, though. Like 2017’s , their fifth album tinkers with the same industrial metalcore template the band have had in place since 2012’s . Yet, as the opening title track kicks off proceedings with a huge nu metal riff, only to be outdone later by , which piles in on a barrage of thundering Joey Jordison-esque drums and gruesomely vicious vocals, it’s clear this is the Pennsylvanians’ heaviest material to date.
