Wheelchair bound, he still manoeuvres the stage like a caged tiger and he is backed by a fearsome band. With a setlist leaning mostly on 1985’s truly essential plus a few choice cuts from and this year’s well-received , the setlist may be retro but the sound mix is decidedly modern, with a harsh in-your-face tone that divides the crowd. Younger fans love it while some of the old guard seem to find it a little too fatiguing.
