THE 11 YEARS since the release of their stellar debut album, Conclusion Of An Age, have been a bit of a mixed bag for Sylosis. Injecting 12,000 volts of death metal and Bay Area-inspired thrash into UK metal in 2008, things were accelerating fast for the five-piece until, for better or worse, the departure of vocalist Jamie Graham arguably altered the DNA of the band forever. Despite guitarist Josh Middleton stepping up in a big way, taking on vocal duties while infusing darker, heavier elements into their pulverising sound, a spark was missing that still resonates with some longtime fans to this day.

Though maintaining a respectable career and a dedicated fanbase, that fandom would be tested further as the band, the fans’ patience has been rewarded with album number five, .
